Insulcraft Norman Spray Foam Insulation, normaninsulation.com, hello@normaninsulation.com
Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of the Insulcraft Norman Spray Foam Insulation website and any insulation work you book with us. By using the site, asking for an estimate or scheduling a job, you agree to them, so please read them before you hire us.
If you don't agree with something here, please don't use the site or book work with us. You can always go back to the home page or call us with questions first.
What we do
We're an insulation contractor in Norman, OK, and we insulate homes and businesses in Norman and the cities around it. Our work includes spray foam, blown-in insulation, attic and crawl space work, air sealing, vapor barriers and removing old insulation. You can read more about our crew on the about page.
The descriptions on this site explain our services in general. What we'll actually do at your house is set out in the written estimate we give you, and that estimate controls if it differs from anything on the site. We're licensed and insured.
Estimates and pricing
We give free in-person estimates, and there's no pressure to book. Your price depends on what we find when we look, such as the size of the attic or crawl space, how much insulation is already there, its condition, how hard the space is to reach and which material you choose.
Some problems only show up once the job is open, like old insulation that's soaked or full of droppings, damaged framing or gaps we couldn't see from the hatch. If we find something that changes the scope or the price, we'll stop, show you and get your OK before we do any extra work.
An estimate is good for the period written on it. After that, material prices can change, so we may need to update it before we schedule.
Scheduling, access and cancellation
We'll agree on a date with you and do our best to keep it, but weather, extreme attic heat, supply delays and earlier jobs running long can push a start date back. If that happens, we'll let you know as soon as we can and set a new time.
On the day of the job, please give our crew clear access to the attic, crawl space or work area, and keep kids and pets away from it. For spray foam, there's a re-entry time, which is how long you stay out before coming back inside. We'll tell you that time based on the foam maker's instructions, and you agree to follow it.
If you need to cancel or move your job, call us as early as you can. If we've already bought material special for your job or started work, you may owe for that material and the work done up to that point.
Payment
Payment is due as stated on your written estimate or invoice, including any deposit it lists. We'll go over the payment terms with you before work starts, so nothing on the final bill should surprise you.
If a payment is late, we may pause unfinished work until the account is settled, and you'll be responsible for reasonable costs of collecting what's owed, as Oklahoma law allows.
Our work and what we don't promise
We do the work in a careful, workmanlike way, and if something about it isn't right, call us and we'll come back and look. Insulation materials carry their makers' warranties, and we'll pass along any manufacturer warranty that comes with the product we install.
We don't promise a specific drop in your power bill or a specific temperature in any room, because those depend on things outside our work, like your windows, your heating and cooling system, how the house is used and the weather. Other than what we put in writing, our work and this website are provided without other warranties, as far as Oklahoma law allows.
The information on this site is general. It's meant to help you understand the job, not to replace an in-person look at your house.
Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We aren't responsible for indirect losses, such as lost use of your home, or for problems caused by conditions that were already there before we started, like roof leaks, plumbing leaks, pests or existing damage to the house.
We also aren't responsible for damage caused by work someone else does after us, or by not following the re-entry time and care instructions we give you.
If we disagree
If you're unhappy with something, call us first, because most problems get fixed fastest by talking it through and letting us come take a look. We'll work with you in good faith to settle it.
If we can't settle it that way, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, and any case will be heard in the state or federal courts serving Cleveland County, Oklahoma.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one in effect. A job you've already signed for stays under the terms that were in place when you agreed to it, unless we both agree in writing to change them.
